Buying a new door is not just about looks but about security and keeping your family and home safe from potential intruders. Our aim is to not only provide high quality, energy efficient doors but also to make your home more secure. Our standard Door Stop ERA lock is so difficult to break in to, that we’ll offer you our Secure Guarantee.
Safety and security are a major concern for everyone in today’s uncertain world and they don’t come much more secure than our range. They are Police approved, BSI tested with a range of locking systems to choose from.
Police Approved Doors
The Secured by Design upgrade meets the Police national standard for safe homes. It’s not only Police Approved, it is recognised by many insurance companies too, so as well as enjoying peace of mind you could also get a discount on your home insurance cover too.
The doors are tested by the BSI and PAS024 to ensure your home is safe and secure, as not every admirer has good intentions.
Testing includes swinging a 30 kilogram ball into the door in nine different places to check that it will stand up to intruders.
The doors go through many tests and have been awarded one of the BSI’s highest accolades, a BS6375 & PAS024 award.
The Ultion Lock Secure Guarantee
We are so confident that the Ultion Lock is so difficult to break into that we offer a Secure Guarantee.
The Ultion cylinder is one of the most secure on the market, when an attack is detected it activates Lockdown Mode which activates a hidden lock. The cylinder has passed all major British standards tests for security without the need for cylinder protectors or extra secure door handles.
These tests include the highest TS007 standard (3 star) and the extended Sold Secure Diamond test, which is more rigorous and design by the Master Lock Smith Association.
The moment that Ultion detects forced entry it activates an attack mode directly into the central cam, this is ‘Lockdown Mode’.
Even if the most determined intruder gets past Ultion’s two sacrificial sections he won’t get to the attack lock because it is protected deep inside a solid molybdenum core and secured with a dedicated retaining pin.
Some locks have 5 pins, others have 6, Ultion has 11
